About us

North Road Family Practice was established by Dr Moroney in the 1970's and was a single-handed practice for over 35 years.

Dr James Kirrane took over the practice in 2011 and was joined by Vera Lawlor at reception who was also with Dr Moroney for many years. Vera retired in the summer of 2020, and Dana Onose who was part-time is now our full-time receptionist. Holly Breay joined the team in January 2014 as a Practice Nurse.

Dr Martha McGann joined the team in 2021 and has sadly moved on to work nearer home in 2025.

We have welcomed Malina Parteni, who has joined Dana at Reception part-time in 2025
